Terms of Use

This English version is a translation of the Korean original. If the two differ, the Korean version prevails.

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms set out the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of SSIMRIT (“we” or “us”) and its users regarding the personality tests and related features we provide (the “Service”).

Article 2 (The Service)

① SSIMRIT provides personality tests that take about a minute, result cards (images) that you can view, save, and share, and related features (such as collecting your results, letting friends answer on your behalf, and response statistics by language). Some features open over time and are not available until they do.
② The Service is free. If we introduce paid features, we will tell you the price and the payment and refund terms in advance, and you will be charged only if you agree.
③ The Service may display advertising.

Article 3 (Posting and Changes)

① SSIMRIT posts these Terms at the bottom of the Service.
② SSIMRIT may change these Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. We will announce the changes and their effective date in the Service at least 7 days in advance, or at least 30 days in advance for changes unfavorable to users. Members who do not agree may delete their account.

Article 4 (Use and Accounts)

① You can take tests without signing up. When you finish a test, a random anonymous identifier is created to link your result to your browser.
② You must be at least 14 years old to create an account. SSIMRIT may delete accounts found to belong to anyone under 14.
③ Members are responsible for their own accounts and must not use anyone else's. Members may delete their account at any time.

Article 5 (Your Content)

① “Your content” means what you enter into the Service, such as test answers, answers given through the friend feature, and nicknames.
② You own your content. You grant SSIMRIT a free license to use it to the extent needed to provide the Service (showing results, the screens your friends see, and statistics that do not identify individuals).
③ Answers through the friend feature are collected without the respondent's name or contact details. Nicknames must not contain real names, contact details, or expressions that demean or offend others, and SSIMRIT may remove such nicknames or reset them to the default.

Article 6 (Prohibited Conduct)

You must not do any of the following. If we find such conduct, we may remove the content concerned or restrict your use of the Service.
1. Sending large numbers of answers by automated means or manipulating statistics
2. Interfering with the normal operation of the Service or bypassing its security measures
3. Impersonating others or entering other people's personal information in nicknames or elsewhere
4. Copying the Service's test questions, result texts, or illustrations for commercial use, or posting them on other services, without SSIMRIT's permission
5. Any other conduct that violates the law or public order

Article 7 (Intellectual Property)

① The rights to the Service's test questions, result texts, illustrations, card designs, and logo belong to SSIMRIT. Questions based on public scales are used under their original authors' terms, and their sources are credited in the Service.
② You may save your own result cards and share them on social media and messengers for personal, non-commercial purposes.

Article 8 (Changes to and Suspension of the Service)

SSIMRIT may change or discontinue tests or features for operational or technical reasons. If a change significantly affects users, we will announce it in advance, or afterwards if advance notice is impossible, such as during an outage.

Article 9 (Disclaimers)

① Test results are for fun and self-reflection. They are not a medical or psychological diagnosis and do not replace professional advice. SSIMRIT is not responsible for judgments or decisions you make based on a result.
② SSIMRIT is not responsible for failing to provide the Service due to causes beyond its control, such as natural disasters or network failures.
③ SSIMRIT has no obligation to intervene in disputes between users, or between users and third parties, that arise through the Service.
④ Notwithstanding the above, SSIMRIT is liable under applicable law for damage caused by its intent or gross negligence.

Article 10 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes relating to the use of the Service will be resolved by the court with jurisdiction under the Korean Civil Procedure Act.
