Privacy Policy
This English version is a translation of the Korean original. If the two differ, the Korean version prevails.
SSIMRIT (“we” or “us”) operates a personality test service (the “Service”) and handles users' personal information as described below. This policy applies to members and non-members alike. You can take the Service's tests without giving your name or contact details.
1. What we collect and why

You must be at least 14 years old to create an account. Items marked “when you use it” or “when you sign up” are processed only for users of that feature.
2. Google account information
When you sign in with “Continue with Google”, we receive the information below through Google Sign-In. We request only the basic sign-in scopes (your email address and basic profile) and do not access Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Contacts, or any other Google data.
- What we receive: your Google account identifier, email address and whether it is verified, name, and profile photo URL
- How we use it: only to create your account, keep you signed in, and collect your test results in your account. Your name and profile photo are shown only to you in the account menu at the top of the screen, and your email only on your account screen. We also use your email to confirm your identity and answer your inquiries.
- How we store it: in the Supabase database listed in section 5 (Seoul region, Republic of Korea), with row-level access control so that only you can read it.
- Sharing: we do not sell your Google account information, use it for advertising, or provide it to third parties (section 4). We do not send your email, name, or profile photo to analytics (PostHog, Google Analytics) either.
- Retention and deletion: we keep it until you delete your account and then delete it as described in section 3. You can also ask us to delete it by emailing help@ssimrit.com. You can revoke SSIMRIT's access at any time in your Google Account's third-party connections; information we have already received is deleted when you delete your account or ask us to delete it.
SSIMRIT's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
3. How long we keep it
When the periods below end, we promptly delete the information or make it impossible to identify individuals. Electronic files are deleted so that they cannot be recovered.

4. Sharing with third parties
We do not provide personal information to third parties unless the law specifically requires it or you separately agree. When you share a result card or link yourself through KakaoTalk, LINE, or another service, what you share goes to that service; this is not SSIMRIT providing information to a third party.

Before we start sending emails such as launch notices, we will choose a delivery provider and add it to this table.
6. International transfers
We transfer personal information abroad for analytics and advertising, as shown below.

If you don't want these transfers, block cookies and site data or turn on tracking protection in your browser. You can still take the tests.
7. Cookies and browser storage
We store information the Service needs in cookies and browser storage.
- Essential: your chosen language (1 year), sign-in and anonymous sessions, test progress (deleted when you close the tab), the address of your last result
- Analytics: random visitor identifiers for PostHog and Google Analytics
- Advertising: when the Service shows ads, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site or other sites. You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings, and out of other ad networks' personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info. Visitors from the European Economic Area, the UK, and Switzerland will be asked for consent before advertising cookies are used.
You can delete or block cookies and site data in your browser settings. Some features, such as resuming a test or seeing your last result, may stop working, but you can still take the tests.
8. Your rights
① You can ask to access, correct, or delete your personal information, to stop its processing, or to withdraw consent. Email help@ssimrit.com, and after confirming your identity we will act on your request promptly and let you know the result.
② Members can delete their account directly from the account screen in the Service; the information is then handled as described in section 3.
③ Non-members' test answers are stored without names or contact details, so it is hard for us to confirm who you are. To delete a specific answer, include the address of that result screen in your email. Clearing your browser's site data removes the link between that browser and your answers, and anonymous sessions are cleaned up automatically 30 days after last use.
④ If we find an account belonging to a child under 14, we delete it promptly.
9. Security
We protect personal information through least-privilege access, row-level access control in our database (users can read only their own data), encryption in transit (HTTPS), separate storage of administrative keys, and access logging.

11. Changes to this policy
When we change this policy, we will announce the effective date and the changes in the Service.
Effective date: October 24, 2026
When you delete your account, test answers are disconnected from you and remain as statistics that do not identify you. Friend invite links are closed and launch notification subscriptions are deleted.
For signed-in members, we link an internal account identifier to the analytics identifier to measure return visits across devices. We do not send emails, names, friend nicknames or individual answers to PostHog.
